I was just chilling by the tv, flicking channels, when a flash of orange caught my eye.
DUDE that was KENSHIN! Ruroken--and one of my favorite episodes to boot. The lead up to the raid at the Kanryu mansion. Sad though, the sound reel was slow by about a second and a bit too thick. But it really was great seeing the Kenshingumi in action again after sooo long.
Maybe i'll finally get around to finishing Not Quite Ready! Maybe.

I've had a lot of plot-bunnies pestering me lately. Thought I'd drop off a nugget of what I've got(in the making) for challenge17(?) "Togetherness"..
Been a while since I've enjoyed working on a story this much. But fun as it is to work with the smiling-psycho(in recovery?) he gets very stubborn when you bring up another character. Obaa-san better watch it. This is roughly half the fic, unless I decide otherwise. And just so its clear, obaa-san here ISN'T some long lost relative. =P Aside from this, Creation's been bugging me a lot too. I still haven't written down chapter 5, but plenty of ideas for the other two storylines, specially the one in Nara.. the era(794) not the place. I'm starting to worry that its a bit too ambitious for me to handle, but I''ll never know if I don't try, ne? As for From the Ashes, I'm just being plain lazy there, need to polish a few things and chapter 7 is post worthy.. but meh ^__^ Time for bed, haha, only 12.12.. *shrugs* Gnite to me. ..

Yeh, the chapter.. Fourteen (ch 1) .. addressing the story introduced in the first(and very slightly in the second) chapter.. You know, the one with sleeping baby Kenji, than scowling teenage Kenji.
In other news, my PC has been disciplined once more, and i can only hope it behaves longer than it did last time. Myabe its time to toss out the piece of junk.

It also looks like FFnet finally feels like working again.. albiet sluggishly.. I've spared none of the story alerts to come my way.. i really am review crazy.. i wonder how many times i have to say i like dishing them out as much as i like getting them till i'll accept it completely myself..

Today has seen only three hours of blackout as oposed to yesterdays near nine. And even these were rather "comfy".
Its an amusing 24'C(75`F)-ish day, overcast then stormy, varying amounts of rain and a very cool wind. Set it against yesterdays 35'C(95'F) and you got more than half my reasons for being happy. Put in 6-ish decent(though not continuous) hrs of sleep and the picture is complete. Yes, i do please easy. ^__^
Lazed around or studied most of the day, thought about writing, but never quite got to that.
Abbu and ammu's(translation-dad and mom's) book is in the last stages of printing.. Binding, packing then distribution -- tommorow and the day after. This is a high school curriculum book, Economic Geography.
Then this ride is over. Another one looks like its just about ready to start(more on that later).

Edit: Had a great dinner, but good mood's been slashed away.. looks like the awesome weather IS a result of low pressure swells out in the Bay of Bengal.. well i'd guessed as much, mom confirmed it later in the day..
Results; over 2000 sailors/fishermen in some 300 small/medium size sea crafts LOST AT SEA *shiver*.. i pray for these people.
Re-Edit: 27 reported safe, 3 dead bodies found.

Can't believe it. Sat down with a rough sketch of part of chapter three of Creation(the last introductory piece) and finished it, including smoothening and uh "finishing" in less than half an hour. Then the power went out ... blargh
Chapter 2 is with lolo_popoki and musicsage92 and hopefully will be ready for postage sometime this week. ^__^
The funny thing is I seem to have the story planned out to its end *gasp*.. this is a major problem with me, be it study courses, sports, chess, or random everythings, i never seem to be able to finish what i start. Maybe i lack the "tenacity" and back out of things at the slightest hint of problems, flaws or hindrances.. also the annoying habit of "rationalizing" and finiding substitutes(which are VERY often NOT "inter-changable") well maybe i'll finish this fic and get all those black-belts the dojo knows they owe me and get the... *shakes head*

Seems as though we failed yesterday, the power wasn't out for 8 hours afterall. When it came back at 12.47 it was still a *few* minutes short. Blah ..
On the brighter or rather darker side of things, class got cut about 40 mins early, for me, since the UPS at my teacher's place couldn't take it any more and died around 9 .. Then me and my sir chatted, and then me sir and auntie(his wife) and we had some alu pakora and i walked the 20 min ish way back home in the near dark.
THANKFULLY our house had power when i got back and the lift was running.. yay lift.
The night was no cooler but by the time the lights came back on and didn't go out again i was "chllin" lying on the cool floor, looking at the sky.
But DAMN! its hot here. :P

We have had over eight hours of blackout-time these last two days and looks like today is out to top that.
Election month is fast approaching and apparently this is a commonly used ploy by the "opposition" .. at times this country sucks, at other times however its plain hell or rather humid, sweaty and sticky hell. Damn its hot today!

Gotta rush off, class from now(4) till 9.30 ish.. with less than an hours break.. Oh well, at least didn't have to do the morning.
